A wonderful stay for whole family!

Though it was rainy, we had a good rest and stay. The dinner was simply wonderful; a link way to restaurant, just remember to bring room card to tap and enter restaurant. Also need to remove sandal too. Overall it was a great experience.

Great 3 nites at onsen.

Day spa, private onsen. Self parking was great. Kaiseki dinners were excellent!

Room needs to be updated. Mattresses were too firm.

all are good. except our room was very far from the main facilities.

the onsen, view and foods

the facility. it has only 2 elevator. 1 is from the main building and 2 is from the extension building which was our room located. you have to walk long way to go in the extension building.

Excellent ! Great view and great facilities

Excellent experience, a lot of facilities available either free of charge of with discount. We used the golf car to reach the nearby bowling, quite fun ! The room is large, with great view

The curtains are not blocking the sun in the morning. No shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, need to go the the public bath to get a shower.

Very large and comfortable rooms with a lot of amenities. Great view from the onsens.

Not particularly convenient to get to from train station; especially with luggage.

What was the highlight of Akazawa Onsen Hotel

It was a relaxing break from Tokyo.

Breakfast was a great buffet. It was, however, Japanese-centric, so you should let your Western visitors know that. Still great, just different.

Beds were hard the way Japanese folks like them and not enough covers. That said, it would be harder if we had had a tatami room so no real complaints about them.

Relaxing onsen, ocean sound and great views

The hotel was fantastic with very nice staff. It seems most of the top floors come with great ocean views. Onsen was superb (3rd floor one). Very clean and you can get golf cart to visit some other facilities near by (ask reception). Check definitely the Deep Sea Spa nearby, great water quality (extra cost though, but worth the visit). Hope to visit again!

The morning buffee table was quite limited. Would have hoped hotel this size offers more option and variety. Would be nice to see more options or at least some degree of daily menu rotation. Also, it would be good if the pool area was open bit longer than 5PM. Could do some very nice things with this area, if bit more developed. None of these are deal breakers, but rather hopeful suggestions.

Loved the location. Our rooms, the buffet breakfast restaurant and onsens all overlook a beach. The view is amazing!

Relaxing with local touch.

Various onsens to try. Didn’t see bus loads of foreigners. Saw mostly Japanese :) friendly service though the staff can only speak a bit of English

The ocean view is worth millions

Absolutely beautiful ocean view. Private onsen also has astonishing ocean view. Breakfast was nice with unbeatable ocean view. There were more pillows you can use if you need.

Not accessible by bus or train, but you can take hotel's shuttle bus to or from train station. No restaurants and conveniences stores nearby. The facility looks old, no shower only bath tub in the bathroom, the hair dryer is not efficient. The staff were not helpful.

LOVED it. Could stay longer

Perfect place to relax for 2-3 of days

Spacious rooms, suitable for families. Great onsen, including option to rent the private one for 3000 yen, and enjoy ocean view. You can bring small kids there and of course, take photos. A large park is just few steps from the hotel. If you have a driving license, you can rent something like a golf cart for free and enjoy! There is a good cost-performance restaurant nearby. Famous sightseeing spots are within 10-15 min by car!

Facilities in rooms are a little bit old.

nice but not a good value at weekend rates

the onsen. spacious and quiet room. free coffee in the morning.

the elevator. only one available to the lobby from our floor so often had to wait a long time. ended up taking stairs. beds and pillows were too hard. our room 209 had no view of the sea. toilet flush was too loud. lobby doesn’t seem like hotel lobby. was this a condominium before? facilities spread out and inconvenient. bowling alley, fitness room, pool spa are in other buildings a hike away.

Many public and private sea view onsens to choose from. Staff is very friendly. Although their English is limited, staff is patient and try their best to understand me. Many Japanese in the hotel, which I like.
